Q: Which famous TV character do you most associate with?
A: Lumpy Rutherford (look him up!). He was a bit of an obscure character, but he played his role well – always offering sound advice to the Beaver. He stuck with it until the show’s final episode, even after the direction of the show changed dramatically. Although the show’s producer failed to acknowledge it, you gotta love the guy working diligently in the background, consistently contributing to the betterment of the show.
Q: Have you ever met anyone famous? If so, who?
A: Not yet, but maybe there’s still time.
Q: What sort of music do you listen to most?
A: Most anything produced prior to 1990 – with the exception of disco.
Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: A teenager!
Q: What’s your ideal way to spend your weekends?
A: On a lake with my 4-year-old grandson, taking the knots out of his fishing line while attempting to address the litany of insightful questions.
Q: Are you an early bird or a night owl?
A: Early – nothing good ever happens past 9:00 pm.
